The successful Eveolution programme, which has already helped hundreds of business women and female entrepreneurs across Greater Manchester to become more digitally savvy, returns this autumn and expands to Cheshire.
With the Business Growth Hub having secured a further £87,000 from the Government’s Equalities Office (GEO), phase two of Women In Broadband Challenge Fund Eveolution will see the launch of further workshops, masterclasses and one-to-one mentoring sessions. The project is aimed at ambitious women looking to find out how digital skills can help them launch their own businesses, or take their existing company to the next level.
The programme includes a wide variety of sessions, from those aimed at helping women get up to speed with ideas such as cloud computing and online business networking, to workshops covering social media, building an eBay site and turning a business idea into a fully functioning app.
There will also be a special focus on how to make the best of new superfast broad band connections, including tips on how to be more productive, reduce IT spend, engage through social and to produce a digital blueprint to achieve success.
